Latimer delights audiences of all ages with her
interactive and dynamic stories, and captivates with
her poise, vivaciousness, and sense of humor. She
looks for unique stories that capture the style,
wit, and individuality of the human person.
Her stories are ones of wonder and imagination, always
with a twist on classic characters. Her trademark
fast-paced and witty style, and unforgettable
adventures and songs are sure to make you laugh, and share for
years to come.
Katie has been professionally storytelling since she was 13. Winner of the 1998 National Youth Storytelling Olympics, she has told extensively in RI and New England, at libraries, schools, and festivals, and across the US, including at the 1999 International Reading Conference in San Diego, and at the National Storytelling Festival in TN.
Her expertise with
audiences of all kinds, and range of performance
abilities have allowed her a reputation for
excellence since a young age, and her carefully
selected and polished stories, for children and
adults, have garnered accolades around the country.
Katie is available
to perform at schools, libraries, conferences and
festivals, as well as private functions. She is also
available for public speaking coaching, storytelling
workshops, and event hosting.
